OUR STORY

With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, much of which was spent in management roles, I have had the privilege of witnessing the growth and development of both children and educators. Throughout my career, I noticed a recurring challenge: many new educators, while equipped with strong theoretical knowledge, often lacked the practical skills and confidence to apply their learning effectively in a real-world setting.

This gap became increasingly apparent, and I realised that the key to bridging it was mentorship and coaching. By offering guidance and support, I saw firsthand how educators' confidence grew, empowering them to put their knowledge into practice with more courage and effectiveness.

This passion for helping others thrive is what inspired me to create Theory in Practice Services, a platform dedicated to supporting educators as they develop the skills, confidence, and resilience to succeed in their careers. I am committed to helping educators unlock their full potential, making a lasting impact on both their professional journey and the children they teach.

OUR PURPOSE

At Theory in Practice Services, we are dedicated to empowering both individual early childhood educators and early childhood services to bridge the gap between theory and practice, unlocking their full potential.

With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), our mission is to support educators and early childhood services long after they've completed their formal education, helping them develop the practical skills, confidence, and expertise needed to create meaningful, positive learning experiences for the children in their care.

We bring a wealth of knowledge in areas critical to the success of early childhood services, including the assessment and rating process, critical reflections, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and in-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF). Our expertise ensures that your service is not only compliant but is also constantly striving for excellence in the quality of care and education provided.
